BULAK is a seasonal Philippine - based online shop (founded in the summer of 2014 ) that offers hand-dyed cotton yarns and crochet/knit items.  BULAK is run by Indie Dyers , Jap and Karen. Karen  is the yarn and handmade lover with a background in traditional Maguey Rope-making (1993-1995), cotton dyeing(since 2011), designing crochet/knit beachwear and accessories (Since 1996), and sewing craft bags and tool cases(since 2016). Jap, the muscle of BULAK, crocheted dresses and bags , did  beadwork on cochet flowers in 2014  and currently specializes in cooking quality tonal hand-dyed yarns (since 2013). Together , they offer quality hand-dyed cotton yarns and beautiful and functional handmade swimwear , beachwear and accessories that are all proudly Pinoy made.
